Scale and sales by weight
Connect a USB, serial or Bluetooth scale, or weigh by hand, to sell by the kilo.
Products sold by weight
In the product record, turn on Sold by weight (€/kg) and enter the price per kg. When sold, the weighing window opens and the price is calculated automatically.
Connect the scale
Open Settings › Scale & Weighing and turn on sales by weight. Choose the connection mode:

For USB / Serial, choose the port, the protocol (Generic ASCII recommended, NCI/Toledo, Mettler-Toledo, CAS, Dibal) and your scale's baud rate. Auto-Connect reconnects it at startup.
For Bluetooth, pair the scale first in Android settings and tap Connect Bluetooth Scale.
Weigh when selling
The display shows the weight as STABLE or IN MOTION. Wait until it's stable and confirm. You can apply the tare or reset to zero.
With Auto-weigh on selection, the window opens by itself when you tap a product sold by weight.
Simulation Mode lets you test the weighing screen without a scale. The Serial Monitor shows what the scale sends, useful for support.
