Adjust a ticket's final amount
Charge an exact total (rounding, discount or surcharge) with the adjustment line and its VAT.

Sometimes you want to charge a specific amount: the customer pays €95 for a €98.40 bill, or you add a surcharge. The Adjust Final Amount does it in one step.
How to do it
- On the ticket, open Options and choose Adjust Final Amount (or the Amount button if you have it under the ticket).
- Type the Amount to Pay on the keypad.
- TPVStream shows the difference: green for a Discount, orange for a Surcharge, with its percentage.
- Choose the VAT of the adjustment line. Your main VAT rate is suggested by default.
- Confirm.
An Adjustment line is added with the difference. The ticket total becomes exactly the amount you typed.
The adjustment's VAT
The window shows the adjustment breakdown: before tax, tax amount and total with tax. Choose the VAT that matches what you sell: for example 10% in Spanish hospitality.
For a percentage discount on the whole ticket, Global Discount is better. The final amount is ideal for rounding.
Made a mistake?
As long as it hasn't been paid, tap the Adjustment line and delete it, like any other line.
