VeriFactu and tax

VeriFactu in TPVStream

What VeriFactu is, what TPVStream does for you and what you need to do.

On this page

VeriFactu is the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) system that requires billing software to guarantee that receipts and invoices can't be altered. TPVStream includes it at no extra cost.

What TPVStream does automatically

  • Chains every receipt and invoice with a fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) of the previous document.
  • Prints a QR code on every receipt so the customer can check it on the AEAT website.
  • Sends every record to the AEAT. Without internet, it keeps it and sends it when the connection is back.
  • Issues corrective invoices (R5 for receipts, R1 for invoices) when you cancel a paid ticket.
  • Keeps an audit log of cancellations and changes.

TPVStream works in VERI*FACTU only mode: every record is sent to the AEAT.

What you need to do

  1. Fill in your tax details: company name, tax ID (NIF), address.
  2. Install your digital certificate to sign the submissions.
  3. Turn on VeriFactu in Production mode.

The system's responsible declaration is in Settings › Fiscal Data and is public on our website.

Check that all is well

  • The VeriFactu sending queue shows pending and sent records.
  • Hash Verification (VeriFactu) checks that the receipt chain is complete.
