Organise the menu in categories
Create categories and subcategories with images so the team finds every product quickly.
Categories organise the sales screen: "Drinks", "Starters", "Desserts" or, in a shop, "Drinks", "Cleaning", "Fresh".
Create a category
- Open Settings › Categories.
- Tap Add a category.
- Type its name and, if you like, choose an image or a colour.
- Save.
Subcategories
Inside "Drinks" you can create "Soft drinks", "Beers" and "Wines":
- Open the category.
- Tap Add a subcategory.
When selling, the waiter opens "Drinks", then "Beers". A path at the top lets you go back.
Change the order
On the sales screen, tap MANAGE PRODUCTS to enter EDIT MODE and use Reorder categories: drag categories to change their order or their parent category.
Put the most used categories first: service goes faster.
Navigation at the till
In Settings › POS Personalization you choose how categories are shown: Buttons or Dropdown menu. See Sales screen layout.
