Import products and categories from CSV
Load your whole menu from Excel or your old POS with a CSV file.

If your menu is already in Excel or another POS, there's no need to type it in by hand.
1. Prepare the file
- Open Settings › Categories and tap CSV Import.
- Choose what to import: Categories or Products.
- Download the Example CSV to see the expected columns.
- Fill it in with Excel or Google Sheets and save it as CSV.
Import categories first, then products: that way each product finds its category.
2. Import
- Drag the file in or tap to select it.
- Check the options: Delimiter (comma or semicolon), Encoding and Skip Header.
- Check the Data Preview and the column mapping.
- Tick Update existing products to change existing products instead of duplicating them.
- Tap Start import.
When it's done, TPVStream tells you how many items were imported.
Export your products
Export Products creates a CSV with your current menu: useful as a copy or to change many prices in Excel and import them again.
